Default Elite Mission in Tyria

Theres The Deep and Urgoz as Elite mission for Cantha, Gate of Anguish for Elona, why not make 1 for Tyria? I see people going in Tyria just to sell their stuff in LA and getting to places just to cap elites. Other than that its really nothing else to do in Tyria. I could be wrong. maybe Tombs is the elite but i dont find it one.

Tomb of the Primeval Kings is definitely the pre-cursor to Elite Missions.

Another example of making something for a later game and having to go back and add it to the original. Urgoz, Deep and DoA were part of the 2nd and 3rd chapters, respectively, from the beginning (well DoA was delayed a bit). Sorrow's Furnace and Tombs were added well after the campaign was established.

I agree, I feel that SF and Tombs were pre-cursors to these enormous elite missions in Cantha and Elona. SF and Tombs both function like Elites and they are specific to Tyria.

Underworld - Core Elite Mission
Fissure of Woe - Core Elite Mission
Sorrow's Furnace - Tyrian mini-Elite Mission
Tomb of Primeval Kings - Tyrian mini-Elite Mission
Urgoz's Warren - Canthan Elite Mission
The Deep - Canthan Elite Mission
Domain of Anguish - Elonian Elite Mission

What makes SF and Tombs unique is that they do not require a gate keeper such as favor, faction in a specific town, completion of a campaign, or a scroll, in order to enter. Additionally, the mini-Elite Missions (what I'm calling them anyway) offer more gold drops.

A lot of people are calling for a return to Tyria. We want this, please add that. Many of the things we like in the later campaigns were ideas the developers came up with after Prophecies was in a box. I think EotN will satiate the appetites of many people who want more from the first campaign.

After GW:EN comes out, people are going to be complaining about needing huge elite missions areas in cantha and elona because deep/urgoz/doa is nothing compared to GW:EN...

People have played Factions and Nightfall a bunch. On several forums people are complaining that ANet has forgotten about Prophecies and are screaming to have new content added to Prophecies to increase the allure of the original game. From New Elite Missions to Greens to adding bonuses for Titan Quests. People are looking for incentive to play Prophecies.

New players can get their GW fix faster by purchasing either of the two newer campaigns. Prophecies is very slow going and, compared to the newer campaigns, doesn't offer as much incentive to play since the vast majority of players want instant gratification.

EotN is based in Tyria. This will rejuvenate Prophecies and may even pull in new players to the first campaign. I think people are asking for more content in Prophecies since it is overplayed and, to many people, boring.

EotN = New Content to Tyria. Isn't that what we're all asking for?

Well, finding the Hidden City on the Ullen River or opening up the area around the Lost City of Orr would be nice.

The Titan missions, The Tombs and Sorrow's Furnace are the Elite missions.

yeah, it's Sorrow's Furnace and TOPK.

And if you want more new Proph content, I advise you not to hold your breath. They can't even fix huge recently introduced bugs in a timely manner.

I agree. Anet DID give us Sorrow's Furnace and Tombs for free.. We don't need an elite mission in tyria.

Oh, and please try to stay on topic. Deleted a few posts.
